The association of small companies of Lombardy publishes a 400 pages year book collecting all the small local enterprises.
It is edited in Italian and English and printed in 15000 copies.
The records are listed in the main section of the book, and then summarized in two indexes, once in alphabetical order and then organized into categories.
Finally, a third index shows only the web site of every company.
The provided services
The publication data is managed through a database that has been developed with FileMaker.
From there it is exported in XML format and then elaborated by the automation procedures.
This way the whole catalogue is ready in few minutes.
This feature is very important because by having such reduced publication times it is possible to insert new companies in the book even at the very last minute.
A key aspect of the service provided by Pragma 2000 is that we are in charge of the whole management of the publication: we serve as the man-in-the-middle between our client and the companies who want to register in their year book.
During all year we receive communications of new entries and collect generalities, pictures and ads.
